I believe that teachers are also students and that teachers can learn from their students. I would love to receive some feedback on how my offerings have supported you and how I can continue to support you!

I took Trisha’s Yin Yoga class. It was my first Yin Yoga class and what I love about her teachings is that I felt supported and gently guided into the poses. She would offer modifications that work best for my body, and would invite me to explore each sensation of the pose - helping me to really relish in the present moment. The savasana at the end was heavenly and her transitions helped me release some anxiety that I was holding on to before I came into class. Super thankful that I was able to practice yoga with her!

Trisha is a powerful healer. She helped me to release the emotional tension I was holding in my body and made it a safe space for me to process it. I appreciate her intentionality of incorporating the entire mind and body in her work.

What I have enjoyed most about Trisha’s teaching is how welcoming, warm, and patient she is. Trisha’s class was the first yoga class I ever attended with a teacher of color. As a woman of color this was important to me. It was also my first time in a yoga studio in a long time and I had been out of practice. I have anxiety and I remember feeling intimidated and nervous. When I walked in, Trisha made me feel welcome with a smile; I felt instantly at ease. In class, she encouraged belonging by having us introduce ourselves to one another, sharing what we were hoping for out of the class, and where in our bodies or spirits we had pain. It made me feel connected to others which increased my feelings of belonging. She also made me feel safe by letting students know that whatever our bodies could do was ‘just right.’ Her approach normalized our hopes, pain, and bodies - however different they where. When she teaches, she is warm and compassionate - her “bedside manner” is calming. Her teaching is deliberate and thoughtful - you get the sense that she has a lot of wisdom, experience, and skill. I have deep trust that with her guidance, I am learning to make my practice stronger and doing it an environment that will support me. When I’m in a class with Trisha, her overall way of being present reminds me that my anxious, racing mind isn’t the only way to be. Every session with Trisha has been a joy and I always look forward to her classes. I highly recommend her.

I wholeheartedly recommend Trisha as the yoga instructor you will ALWAYS look forward to practicing with! She is thoughtful and brings the most on-point messages to classes. I am so glad to have her guidance, voice and spirit in my life!

Without Trisha’s yoga, my life would be diminished. That might be too selfish of a reason, but I am here for positive connections that support health and Trisha’s work is definitely that!!!

Trisha is a genuine person, whose first impression may be quiet...until you learn about the smoldering fire and passion she holds deep inside her heart. Her yoga classes are so well planned with positive intention, and her values toward equality and justice deeply infuse her style. I love Trisha as a yoga teacher, peer and friend and I hope you can be honored by her presence too!
